After the 46-year-old finishes his time at Paris St-Germain where he won one Ligue 1 title and four domestic cups after 2 seasons in charge. Other potential names were Massimiliano Allegri, manager of Juventus and former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti. Formers Arsenal players Arteta, Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira were also in the mix.

Wenger, has left the Gunners at the end of the season after an incredible 22 years in charge. In this time, he won Three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups. Emery announced last month that he would be leaving PSG when at the end of the season his contract expires. He has been replaced by Thomas Tuchel, who was the former boss at Borussia Dortmund.
